The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary Gets Physical, Lily Won’t Back Off Her Personal Life

One would think that the mother of teenage twins and Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) third-born child would be busy on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But no, Lily (Christel Khalil) finds time to be overly involved in Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) personal business.

Of course Hilary’s detractors are cheering Lily on whenever she tells the unreformed gossip hour host to stay away from her brother. As for Devon (Bryton James), sometimes he’s on Hilary’s side and at other times he opposes her. Yes, mixed signals have been sent for the last year-plus.

In the real world ‘Hevon’ would have moved away from the Winters’ family and lived independently. But these characters in Genoa City haven’t and aren’t going anywhere. Thus the planned drama flows on.

Hilary had enough this week when Lily said that she would have access to the apparent baby through Devon. Hilary advised Mrs. Ashby that she would issue a restraining order, but then got physical with Lily.

The word ‘apparent’ was used purposefully. Hilary did show a test result, but Devon hasn’t confirmed that on his own.

So, is the one-time Mrs. Hamilton baby blessed, or not? A negative answer would seem unusual, as Devon now insists he isn’t interested in being the father of her child if she’s not already pregnant.

Neil (Kristoff St. John) needed to intervene between his daughter, former wife and former daughter-in-law (Hilary is both). He told both ladies that they needed to learn how to coexist. As he did so viewers were wondering what happened to his directive about Hilary needing to work from the GC Buzz studios? Devon wouldn’t have nixed that order, so why is she still there all the time?

Y&R fans are assuming that Hilary is with child, as that storyline would have a long play-out. Along with that seeming likelihood is Lily’s persistent attitude. She again doesn’t realize that her brother is old enough to make his own decisions. Yes, Lily also won’t back off Devon.
