The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Shauna Confronts Devon About Hilary, Helps Hevon Along

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) was hoping to move back into Devon’s (Bryton James) penthouse on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Instead, she was invited by her true love to take residence in the same building where ‘Hevon’ once lived together.

Devon could ask one of his singing artists to press a single. The projected top download could be titled, ‘Mixed Signals for You, Hilary’.

Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) saw through Devon’s front and told him so directly. The young lady who Hilary is mentoring has repeatedly said that Devon and Hilary are a couple, no matter how they term their connection, or whatever it is.

The pleasant way Hamm’s character confronted Devon caused him to think. That type of honest approach is surely one viewers can related to, whether they’ve played the Devon, Hilary, or Shauna role (or possibly two, or three roles) themselves in the real world.

As a side note, this new character has a last name. So, seasoned soap fans know that surely means Miss Nelson will continue to be seen on-screen. That’s good because Hamm is a solid actor who’s work is believable.

Separately, a funny moment was seen recently when Hilary advised Devon that some guys don’t know when to make a move.

On the one hand, he’s agreed to have a child with you, Hilary. On the other hand, Devon, you are sending mixed signals to the woman you have never stopped loving.

It makes sense that Devon would be baby-stepping into the arrangement that he’s established with Hilary. But their expected pregnancy and eventual co-parenting will stir forming emotions that will certainly create a strong beyond between the once and apparent again ‘Hevon’.

The next step for Y&R’s arguably most charismatic pairing is for Hilary to have her pregnancy confirmed. They joy in realizing that goal will further the restored trust and positive feelings with Devon.

Hilary simply needs to stay patient, embrace the new life inside her, and take Devon’s offer to move into his building. After she does so, the proximity between this trio (Hilary, Devon, and the baby) should naturally lead to better days, including a full eventual repairing.
