The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary And Devon Reunion Interrupted By Mishael’s Exit – Hevon’s Best Days Enjoyed

Fans of ‘The Young and the Restless’ know that the great Mishael Morgan (Hilary) recently announced her departure from this iconic soap. So, ‘Hevon’ fans are enjoying the couple’s best days until Hilary’s final scenes play out.

The idea of a baby was embraced by Hilary and then, thankfully, by Devon (played by the outstanding Bryton James) as well. This unconventional couple redux led to a full-blown revival and possibly a coming remarriage.

Of course it’s subjective to offer the above about Morgan and James and the characters they play. But personal opinion about serialized entertainment is a chosen prerogative. And, in this instance, what pairing has been better during ‘Hevon’s’ multiple runs?

Morgan’s arrival five calendar years ago established a new character who, arguably, became this generation’s Victoria Rowell (Drucilla Winters). While Hilary’s link to the Winters’ family was far different than Dru’s, there was no doubt in many longterm fan’s minds that Morgan evidenced and has sustained star power.

What is that extra something some actors emit? It’s undefinable, like all timeless art. But, to be sure, Morgan possesses the ‘it’ factor.

Hilary initially believed that Neil (Kristoff St. John) was responsible for her mother’s untimely death. He wasn’t, Neil offered forgiveness and with that began Hilary’s redemption and the evolution of what became a classic Y&R character.

Lily (Christel Khalil) never fully trusted Hilary and surely never will. But who can compare to Dru?

Cane (Daniel Goddard) was targeted by Hilary as well, on more than one occasion. He survived and stands strong with ‘Lane’ against her to this day.

GC Buzz proved to be the perfect vehicle for Hilary to exhibit her talent and express boundless energy. Devon’s instinct about that career path proved fully right, as Y&R played into online trends.

Yes, love for another does allow us to see the best in others. It can create tension, as ‘Hevon’ has often famously demonstrated. But it can also create hope, most importantly through the birth of a child.

How much of Hilary’s current storyline will Morgan play before the end of her contracted days arrive? Is a recast, or write-off coming? The answers to those and other questions are why devoted fans of this actor and the show will keeping watching.
