The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hevon Supercharged – Hilary’s Focus Evolving As Is Devon’s Compassion

The once and now, likely again,‘Hevon’ received great news on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is pregnant. And with that life-altering confirmation, her focus continues to evolve as does Devon’s (Bryton James) view of his one true love.

Since their marriage ended it’s accurate to say that Hilary has been trying her best to improve and is succeeding. It can also be said that Devon treated the only woman he’s ever truly loved harshly since the divorce. However, ‘Hevon’ fans know both characters backstories and have always recognized that the slow dance that’s occurred back to a relationship represents adjusting emotions.

Many viewers surely have experienced a similar evolution within themselves and in considering the various relationships they have, be they romantic or otherwise, with many other people. Such is life on the other side of the television screen.

We aren’t all perfect and should never expect others to be. Hilary’s desire to have a baby with Devon wasn’t the only recent development that has allowed the audience and James’ character to see emerging character elements within the mother of his child.

Shauna’s (Camryn Hamm) appearance in Genoa City wrote a younger person into Hilary’s life. She’s been mentoring the young lady who is becoming Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) girlfriend.

There have been a number of occasions, most recently including the prom preparation, where Devon’s witness of Hilary’s interaction with Shauna allowed him to see his ex-wife’s heart. He was also projecting Hilary’s mothering abilities as these scenes played out, therefore reconfirming that Morgan’s character does think about someone other than herself. Devoted fans recall Hilary’s genuine affection for baby Sam Ashby.

Among various reasons, the supercharge of ‘Hevon’ Part II is being enabled by Hilary’s now-confirmed pregnancy. This storyline thankfully allows two wonderful lead actors the ability to evidence their electric on-screen chemistry. It’s reasonable to suggest that no better pairing has been presented to Y&R’s fans within the last few years.
