The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Victor’s New Girlfriend Helen Remains a Mystery – Jack Not Happy

Helen (Sitara Hewitt) appears to be Victor’s (Eric Braeden) girlfriend on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But is she really? Jack’s (Peter Bergman) not happy about the seeming collusion between his new chemist and the ‘Moustache’, while Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) feigns neutrality.

Jack needed to hire a replacement for Ashley (Eileen Davidson) at Jabot. As viewers recall, ‘Ash’ left the Abbott family business. She had a blowout with her brother and another power struggle was lost.

Ashley was quickly recruited by Victor, with Nikki’s help no less. That was then the latest poke that set Jack off.

A search was conducted and Helen was hired to become Jabot’s replacement chemist. She seemed to be a side character, or possibly Jack’s half-age potential love interest. But no.

After J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) left Victor for dead, Jack stumbled into the Ranch. He sobered up within minutes, as seasoned soap viewers took note, stole the ‘Black Knight’s’ backup hard drive and eventually called 911.

A handful of days later a mystery woman was seen leaving Victor’s Genoa City Memorial Hospital room, possibly in one of the Victor Newman wings. Yes, it was Helen. But she hadn’t turned his ventilator off. No, she was purported to be a girlfriend coming to pay homage.

Is Helen actually Victor’s newest love interest? She could easily be an unknown daughter, or some other type of personal connection instead.

Playing off the title to this feature, when is Jack happy? His return to the ranch this week allowed him to happen upon free range ‘Niktor’ and Helen, who Jack said he was going to fire.

It would seem more fitting that Y&R has Hewitt’s intriguing character be more than just a wedge between Victor and Nikki. Braeden’s character, with head, hung low as Victor continues his wheel-chaired recovery within his rustic abode, said he would make everything all right. That implied Helen’s storyline will unfold in a manner that bleeds beyond what’s been told.
