The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Graham’s Slimy Reign Continues – Abbott Family Remains in Danger

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) fell into Graham’s (Max Shippee) trap on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Even though Dina’s (Marla Adams) daughter was fully on-guard, she was fooled by Graham’s claim that he was diabetic and needed an insulin shot. Ashley’s subsequent grasp of a syringe then established a chain of evidence fingerprint trail.

Graham’s apparent intent is to drug Dina, while setting up Ashley as the injector. Whether this scenario is intended to actually kill Dina, or merely to tag Ashley as a legal threat isn’t yet known. However the extensive lengths that Graham has gone to in order to concoct this ruse are truly diabolical.

Dina has no clue what’s happening. Her instant turnabout after Ashley entered the Bloodworth’s suite at the Genoa City Athletic Club played right into Graham’s hands. Madame Mergeron welcomed the daughter she gave birth to through Graham’s stepfather Brent Davis (Bert Kramer). Then, within minutes, Dina believed that Ashley was a Genoa City Athletic Club room service representative.

Ashley left with her gratuity and was unaware that she’d been setup. Graham, the former actor, reaffirmed his reign as GC’s master manipulator and ultimate performance artist.

Graham is counter-attacking public knowledge that he previously offered. Everyone knows he’s admitted to despising Dina for having wronged his family decades ago. He also realizes that his wife’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis makes her fall nuptials, and therefore his intentions deeply suspicious.

The play to trap, or potentially frame Ashley is very dangerous. Graham must believe that Ashley will be powerless to overcome the position she’s been put into even after she’s realized that she was setup. However, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) will certainly be compelled to help their sister.

There’s also another outcome that Graham may not have considered. If Dina isn’t actually killed, she may realize, during a period of fluidity what Graham has done. At that point she would be able to report him to the authorities, or will protect her daughter fiercely using other means.
