The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Graham’s Power of Attorney Threat is Real – Abbott’s Must Take Dina Out of State

Jack (Peter Bergman) resorted to physical violence on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He felt compelled to do so, after Graham (Max Shippee) pushed his way into the Abbott mansion, locked Traci (Beth Maitland) out and had successfully persuaded Dina (Marla Adams) to leave. However, Jack’s actions stopped that temporary problem, but didn’t solve the real threat.

Graham doubled over, was pushed out and screamed through the glass double-door before he left. The Abbott’s and Dina were reminded that his medical power of attorney was in effect because they were in the state of Wisconsin.

Earlier, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) persuaded Jack to visit a nearby memory care facility. It proved to be A-plus, but wasn’t an acceptable alternative in Jack’s opinion. He wasn’t willing to confine their mother. Later, all three siblings decided that Dina would instead receive 24-hour care in the family home.

Viewers witnessed the return of Shippee’s compelling character a few episodes ago, when he unexpectedly appeared at the Genoa City Athletic Club. A created flashback sequence confirmed that he was the one who orchestrated Dina’s abduction of Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen).

After finally addressing what has become an increasing chaotic situation, the Abbott’s then dealt with Mr. Bloodworth. So, it would now seem necessary to take Dina out of Wisconsin and possibly check her into a secure Alzheimer’s related facility. While not ideal, that choice would block Graham’s legal scheme.

Dina apparently contacted Graham, who seemingly flew into town and met her at the GCAC. Christian having wandered to Adams’ character obviously wasn’t part of the plan, but played into Graham’s hand.

Dina’s one-time trusted companion wanted to drive a new wedge between Dina and her children. He’s manipulating a vulnerable elderly woman in hopes of claiming her fortune, or so it seems as this plot point isn’t yet clear.

Yes, the climax to this deep arc has arrived. It’s outcome can’t be fully projected, but concerned Y&R fans are hoping that Dina and her children triumph.
