The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Covers Blown Off J.T. and Vickie – JTV Doomed

J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) has been working undercover on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Simultaneously, Vickie (Amelia Heinle) used her on-again significant other to frame Ashley (Eileen Davidson). Both character’s covers are about to be blown, which means that ‘J.T.V.’ is likely doomed.

Luckinbill stated, upon his return to the cast in December, that J.T.’s storyline would last until February, or March. Well, he’s still in the storyline as the last partial month of winter rolls on. So unless Y&R has extended the actor’s assumed short-term contract, or he’s agreed to stay on, J.T. is about to be written out of Genoa City.

The pending double-boom that will be felt within the Newman-Hellstrom household projects as epic. Vickie has no idea that J.T. agreed to work for Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Lauralee Bell) after they pressured him into doing the government’s business. Having discovered that he let Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) off, the husband and wife authority team coerced J.T. to spy on Victor (Eric Braeden).

The ‘Moustache’ is believed to be involved in money laundering. That seems as much of a stretch as when ‘Pristine’ believed that Victor had backed the human trafficking ring, which he certainly did not.

What won’t matter to Vickie is that J.T. protected her mother. Instead, she’ll feel betrayed by the man she thought might be the remarrying kind.

However, Vickie has been taking advantage of J.T. by using him as a retrieval mule. She and Jack (Peter Bergman) planted evidence that Luckinbill’s character was sent to find at Jabot.

J.T.’s already explosive personality, seemingly caused by the side effects of the heart medication he’s taking, will surely be evidenced as soon as he learns what Vickie did to him.

In his case, he was pressured to work against Victor. He hadn’t planned to do so, but faced jail time if he didn’t. Vickie used her own free will to set up Ashley and involve J.T. in the scheme.

Considering the pending arrival of a number of J.T.’s former friends, which coincides with Y&R’s forty-fifth anniversary, a building blowout and linked climax to ‘J.T.V.’s’ arc will arrive this month.
