The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Cover-up Crew Spooked – J.T. Believed To Be Alive

Sharon (Sharon Case) wanted to report what really happened on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) appointed herself in charge of covering up Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) latest crime.

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) was hit almost as hard as J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) by what happened. She never anticipated that her one-time husband and renewed love was concealing an inner rage that eventually exploded on that fateful night in question.

Y&R’s storyline involving a devolving J.T. Hellstrom often felt pushed. Was that because the show was intent on addressing what it saw as a hot social issue? Might the surprise return to daytime it negotiated with Luckinbill have necessitated a limited-run, thereby causing the dramatic write-out to be inevitable?

With whatever the answers to the above questions were, are, or will be, what was known is that Nikki’s head-conk stopped J.T.’s heartbeat. In the real world that would mean a human being’s soul then hopefully moves onto Heaven, or a completely different plane, as evolved minds have agreed for at least two-thousand years.

As soap fans know, Genoa City isn’t the real world. So, in this soapy existence it’s surely possible that J.T. wasn’t dead and that his heart rate wasn’t detectable when it was checked. It’s also possible that the four-woman contingent didn’t see that another person dug up Luckinbill’s character immediately after they left Chancellor Park, following the unauthorized burial.

Why couldn’t this unknown angel have then resuscitated J.T., nursed him back to health, and have been caring for him ever since? Well, that is fictionally possible, but also far-fetched.

It seems as though Y&R is now implying resurrection as a plot ploy. The show knows it’s devoted fans are savvy. GC observers know the a reasonable explanation must be forthcoming.

How can J.T. possibly be alive? Well, in the real world, or even in this alternate version of one, he can’t. Perceptions will soon be altered by whoever is attempting this ruse, as Y&R’s writing staff will (hopefully) present.
