The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Clueless Sharon And Cover-up Crew Prepare For Wedding – J.T. Hellstrom Drama Far From Over

Sharon (Sharon Case) was chided for having another so-called party on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Most specifically, the other three members of the aptly dubbed coverup crew weren’t thrilled with reconvening. However, ‘Shick’s’ remarriage plans, which included bridesmaid preparation, served as a veil and a distraction.

Camryn Grimes (Mariah) arguably has the greatest comedic sense in the cast. Her sense of timing elevates the sharply written lines to consistently inject delightful moments of humor into Genoa City’s settings.

Mariah’s prods were again aimed at her soon-to-be unwanted stepsister Summer (Hunter King). ‘Snowflake’ has transformed into ‘Strumpet’, among other nicknames since returning to town.

The interplay between Grimes and King is excellent and inspires fans to believe that both actors must share many laughs while rehearsing and after their takes. The mark of engaging serial stars is an enhanced ability to shine individually and to mesh with a collective cast. Kudos to both ladies in each regard.

After Summer was taunted out of the cottage by Mariah, Grimes went upstairs. Those stage exits left Sharon, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Vickie (Amelia Heinle) alone to talk their committed crimes to death (wink), as nerves have coerced them to do quite often.

J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) was erased by Nikki. Phyllis then acted like a professional fixer and Luckinbill’s devolved character was plopped in Chancellor Park. Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) arrival at the home he intends to depart silenced all parties about the recent past just as Phyllis was sounding off. She is not in favor of ‘Shick’ Part II and could upend the pending nuptials at any time as her ex-husband knows.

Loyal Y&R fans likely feel the intended fall wedding will be blended with some type of linked climax. Sharon will learn about ‘Phick’s’ recent get-together, possibly through Summer, the coverup crew’s actions will be exposed, Nick’s Dark Horse will provoke a delay, or some other type of soapy dramatics will take place. With whatever happens, daytime viewers have much to consider via these unfolding arcs.
