The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Chelsea Believes Past is Buried – Stunning Answer Awaits Uncle Nic

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Chelsea Believes Past is Buried – Stunning Answer Awaits Uncle NicChelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) grieved for a long time on ‘The Young and the Restless’. That was understandable, as the man she loved was literally blown to bits in a cabin explosion. Such is soap as an overly assertive uncle Nick (Joshua Morrow) will come to understand.

The apparent tease involving many recent references to Adam (most recently played by Justin Hartley) indicates that this fabled character is returning. Additional speculation about whether Michael Muhney has already been rehired has been fueled by that actor’s unusual absence from social media since late November.

‘Chadam’ represented the great love of Chelsea’s life. ‘Chick’ is still developing. While their love for each other is real, Egan’s character recently told Sharon that Adam was far wilder than Nick is.

However, Chelsea’s feelings weren’t intended as a true comparison because she believes Adam is dead. Is it fair to wonder if Nick has been competing with his brother’s perceived ghost since ‘Chick’ first formed? Yes, he probably has.

Nick sees himself as handy, which isn’t exactly accurate. Nevertheless, he tasked himself with handling the completion of penthouse bathroom project that he initiated.

When Nick’s contractor wasn’t able to complete the job, Nick manned-up to do so. The result led to Nick locating money inside of the penthouse vents, which belonged to Adam.

Y&R surely has invented this plot point as a lead-in to something more. Possibly, the money will draw Adam back to town. Maybe its discovery leads to some type of clue that eventually allows Adam to be found, as his absence will have to be believably explained if this apparent dead man rises.

Chelsea’s persistent worry is that Nick would somehow learn that Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) isn’t his biological son. That issue will remain buried with the remains of that boy’s mother, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Adam, unless a back-office decision was, or will be made to bring Adam back again. Assuming that happens, there’s no doubt that the paternity issue will finally be addressed and that ‘Chick’ will also be over.
