The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Baby Drama Scares Hevon – Mishael Morgan’s Exit Looms

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) finally seemed to have achieved bliss on ‘The Young and the Restless’. ‘Hevon’ not only reunited, but their first baby was on the way. Then, a routine checkup created drama.

Not hearing a heartbeat could indicate a tragic miscarriage has already happened. If so that would naturally be devastating and also likely establish Morgan’s write-out, or a recast of the Hilary character.

The idea of ‘Hevon’ getting back together more than a year ago was preposterous. Devon just opted to end their marriage and Hilary reluctantly agreed. However, the charismatic couple parted amicably, which winked at the revival that took place earlier this year.

Hilary and Devon were never truly cut off from each other during their period of being unmarried. Each person tried dating someone else.

In Hilary’s instance, Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) proved to be a rush-crush that ended badly. Devon developed his true friendship with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) into more. However, Mariah didn’t have the feelings for Devon that he was open to developing for her.

Y&R created a heart-warming way to bring one of its most passionate pairings back via Hilary’s desire to become a mother. Her instant bond with Cane’s (Daniel Goddard) son Sam led to the current pregnancy.

Devon had some initial doubts, but soon realized that Hilary was the only person he wanted to have a child with. Together, the baby bond allowed each half of ‘Hevon’ to realize that their latent feelings needed to be expressed openly again and that a second commitment was inevitable.

Recent news of Morgan’s voluntary departure saddened fans. However, her last day at the studio, which took place on June 27, revealed a warm farewell. That affirmed this actor’s positive contribution to and parting from Y&R.

Regardless of whether the Hilary role is filled in the future, or never, this great actor’s efforts will be fondly remembered. All the best is offered to the deeply talented Mishael Morgan, indefinitely.
