The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Arturo’s Interest in Abby Provokes Nikki – Narturo On the Rocks

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) thought she had everything figured out on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Victor (Eric Braeden) was at home recuperating while she was at the Genoa City Athletic Club with Arturo (Jason Canela). But a return to the GCAC later that same day revealed that Abby (Melissa Ordway) was moving in on her man. Well, Arturo is actually Nikki’s second choice.

Some Wisconsin residents believe Nikki’s actions are a bit ridiculous, just as Victor’s are. Others who ascribe to self-promoting behavior are cheering on ‘Narturo’. But those souls must also be applauding ‘Velen’ (Victor and Helen, Sitara Hewitt) as well, right?

Arturo has twice approached Abby, a romantic match of his own age. Abby is also single, like he apparently is. This secondary pairing has twice met at the Club and appear to be nearing a date, if that’s what the self-labeled enlightened contingent calls it these days.

So, Nikki saw Arturo talking with Abby. ‘Abturo’ (yes, these nicknames are purposely mashed into absurdity) didn’t see Victor’s supposed one true love. But oh she saw them and then turned. Nikki made her way back through the wooden revolving door. Viewers have been waiting for someone to get stuck in there, yet that bit of visual humor hasn’t been projected yet.

This long game could easily see Arturo and Abby willingly involving themselves with each other. By his understanding of what Nikki has told him, that should be okay. Though Y&R fans could clearly see that Nikki wasn’t and surely won’t be okay with that development if (when) it happens.

‘Narturo’ could soon be on the soapy rocks. Possibly that will allow Nikki to care for Victor, who was previously mentioned as only truly loving the former Miss Reed. She’s claimed that the ‘Moustache’ is her only actual soul mate as well. One assumes that in a Y&R world that’s a legitimate statement to make. Ah, the supposed truths ‘Niktor’ spouts are so soapy.
