The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Abbott’s Battle Graham – Dina’s in Danger

The Abbott family had no idea that Dina’s (Marla Adams) return to Genoa City in 2017 would cause such uproar on ‘The Young and the Restless’. As 2018 starts, Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland) are fighting the man who continues to fuel family turmoil, Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee).

In classic soap style, Y&R appeared to have sent Graham packing. He was last seen in Florida, after Jack and Ashley seemed to have outwitted Mr. Bloodworth. Though daytime drama fans are deeply savvy and they likely knew that Shippee’s fine work had not been completed.

As viewers recall, the siblings trailed Graham south. He’d taken Dina from the hospital after she’d suffered a mini-stroke. Jack and Ashley found their mother at a resort. She was as chipper as ever, but slapped her son in the face when she saw him.

Time revealed that Dina had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease more than a year ago. Graham was aware of her condition, but kept it from the Abbott family. That, along with Dina having previously made him her main heir, forced the Abbott’s hand.

Jack and Ashley brought Dina back to Genoa City toward the end of the last year. Madame Mergeron has been quite the handful, but full compassion is offered to all in this regard considering her serious health issue. Dina’s children’s lives have certainly been affected as well.

Now having returned to Wisconsin, Graham has reasserted his place in Dina’s life. For now the viewers know that he hold a medical power of attorney. But what other secrets has he been keeping? This week’s coming legal battle in court will serve to further another storyline storm.
