The Young and the Restless (YR) RUMOR: J.T.’s Evil Twin Targets Victoria? – Bizarre Threat Fueled by Revenge

Is it possible that J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) is still alive on ‘The Young and the Restless’? That can’t be true. So, then who is targeting Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Newman Enterprises?

Not much is known about J.T.’s backstory. Sketchy information about him was provided during Luckinbill’s initial run and not much was offered when Mr. Hellstrom returned in 2017.

Who would be motivated to scare Victoria? It would likely be someone who held a grudge, but also doesn’t know that J.T. is dead.

The Young and the Restless viewers have no idea who J.T. was in contact with before he was conked over the head by Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and then buried by the cover-up crew that was led by Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Certainly it’s possible that someone might have seen what went down at Chancellor Park and is now begun pursuing some form of strange blackmail.

The masked voice mail message Vickie received on her business phone was deeply chilling. While Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor (Eric Braeden) sloughed it off, the subsequent delivery of various boxes to Vickie’s office served as a follow-up warning shot.

The disguised voice threatened to bring down Newman. Victor is therefore the number one target. But Vickie was chosen to receive the threat. Both factors feel J.T.-like. Again, assuming he isn’t alive, which would be incredible soapy, yet is possible, then someone connected to him can surely be suspected as this anonymous assaulter.

Why not write a brother into the story? But who would play him. Maybe someone who resembled J.T., or possibly a choice who is more than that.

Might Luckinbill be reintroduced as J.T.’s brother, or evil twin? Doing so would allow a great actor to rejoin the cast, unless he’s simply been taking a respite.

With whatever proves true, Y&R has revealed an intriguing storyline that may link back to the J.T. dies arc. Interestingly, Nick told Vickie that he plans to bring J.T. to justice. He did that within the same setting where she just shared the creepy, cryptic voice mail message with him.

Clues? Maybe so.
