‘The Young and the Restless’ (YR) Poll: Will Juliet Recording Stop Hevon Revival?

Devon (Bryton James) accidentally heard an old recording on ‘The Young and the Restless’. It revealed Juliet (Laur Allen) telling Hilary (Mishael Morgan) that Cane (Daniel Goddard) never harassed her while they were working at Brash and Sassy.

Hilary agreed to sell GC Buzz to Devon. Then she insisted on having a corner office in the Genoa City Athletic Club, on the same floor where the Hamilton Winters Group is located. She didn’t get that prime space, which is why Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) was reviewing old thumb drives for Hilary at Devon’s desk.

So Devon was reviewing one of the mini storage devices when he found an old recording. What he heard revealed that Hilary withheld information about Cane that, if exposed, would have saved him, Lily (Christel Khalil) and Vickie (Amelia Heinle) much discord.

The former Mrs. Hamilton continues to say that she’s a new person. Of course, this is the umpteenth time this line of dialogue has been written and spoken by the always terrific Morgan. Most Genoa City residents and fans have remained suspicious of that claim. But Devon loves Hilary and was warming to the idea of a reconciliation with her, which could include remarriage and a baby.

Devon is sure to react now that he knows what his ex-wife kept hidden. However, Hilary can always say the digital recording represented ancient history, which would be true. But ‘Lane’ is sure to learn about this surprising find as well. They won’t be as forgiving as the head of HWG, which may subsequently apply sustained pressure against Hilary’s cause.

Hilary has already secured Devon’s financial investment. He’s unlikely to kick her out of his reacquired company because she’s its main asset. However, the drive to ‘Hevon’ Part II may have hit a Wisconsin winter pothole the size of Hilary’s never deflated ego.
