Victor (Eric Braeden) is Genoa City’s most famous living resident. He obviously stirs varied emotions, but do those responses reflect the personalities of the observers rather than present a clear picture of the ‘Moustache’? His life isn’t solely based upon his wife. Instead, he’s built and maintained a worldwide conglomerate, supported handfuls of family members and has given more money away then most people will make in ninety-nine lifetimes.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) married up after dancing at The Bayou. She’s not ashamed of her past, which also always enlightens her many achievements. Y&R’s current ‘Grande Dame’ is the only person who truly gets to Victor, which is intended as a high compliment. But her life isn’t solely based upon her husband, as she’s raised a family, is a grandmother, has handled countless charity events and now, is about to embark on a housing project.
Sharon (Sharon Case) is a survivor. This character’s recent revitalization was long called for by her fans. Sharon has battled many Newman’s, loved many men, is loved by her children, owns Crimson Lights, volunteers at a crisis center and is enrolled in college classes. Her accomplishments can rightly be classified as remarkable.
Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) might seem like an unusual choice to offer within this list. But this young lady’s life often contrasts the self-involved portrait many within her generation are encouraged to digitally paint. She understands that peer group pressure is infinitely less important than doing what’s right and has developed meaningful intuitive skills that are applicable to reality.
Dina (Marla Adams) isn’t perfect and doesn’t claim to be. Her return to town and intent to seek peace with her children was fully sincere. Dina’s since-revealed Alzheimer’s diagnosis has propelled the status of this once secondary character into one of, if not the most admirable GC personas.

Billy (Jason Thompson) is truly unique. However, the four adult actor faces that have been applied to this character isn’t the reason why his name appears on this list. Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death added to Billy’s seemingly fated existence. Both before and after that tragic event, he’s been unable to withstand the biologically-based pull of an addictive personality. Trouble then followed for himself and others. But, underneath it all he just wants to give and receive love.
Of course, there are plenty of other Y&R character’s names that could have been offered here, or can be by all valued readers.
