The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan has confirmed that she is leaving the highly rated CBS soap. After many rumors stated that she would be departing soon, the actress finally told her fans that yes, she will no longer be playing Hillary in the future. Mishael has been on the show since 2013.
The beautiful actress took to her Instagram account to inform her social media followers of big changes ahead. “It is with a heavy heart that I announce my departure from Y&R,” she posted to Instagram. “There were many factors that led to this decision, but ultimately, five years just felt right to me.”

She added, “I feel blessed to have worked with some of the most talented, hardworking, and fun-loving people in television. Thank you to the cast, the crew, and everyone at Sony and CBS who made the past five years truly unforgettable. A special thanks to my partner in crime, Bryton James (Devon), who always brought out the best in me and Hil. Last, but definitely not least, I want to thank all of my amazing fans who have supported me on this journey. Your gifts, love, and kindness over the years (and days) have warmed my heart and fueled my soul more than you could ever know.”
Mishael added that this isn’t a “good-bye” but rather a “see you soon.” It’s without a doubt that fans will miss seeing Mishael on the show. But then again, the door will always be open for her return. She might be back before we know it! Either way, we wish her all the best and continued success in her career.
