The Young and The Restless Star Eileen Davidson Shares Her Health Scare

It’s a good thing that Eileen Davidson has wrapped up her most current stint on The Young and the Restless because the actress could sure use all of the rest that she can get! The blonde beauty recently had quite a health scare and it’s one that definitely left her both shocked and worried.

Eileen, who is best known for her role as Ashley on The Young and the Restless, recently told her fans that she is recovering from a nasty spider bite. Unfortunately, she’s also suffering from an infection from it. Yikes! That doesn’t sound good at all.

Eileen took to her Instagram account to share a photo of her painful bite for her fans. Unfortunately, it was a Brown Recluse Spider that had bit her on the arm! She captioned the photo with, “So my spider bite has become infected. I’m on two antibiotics, I’ve had an injection of antibiotics and a tetanus shot. Two topical ointments too. What???!!!”

A lot of her concerned fans wrote in the comments section, “I have scars from my bite. It will get better,” along with, “I had Cellulitis from my spider bite that looked just like it. Those brown recluses are horrible!”

While many spider bites are much to do about nothing, many of Eileen’s social media followers did point out that it’s better to be safe and sorry. In other words, always take them seriously, even if it might seem like just another scar. We wish Eileen a very speedy recovery!
