The Young and The Restless Star Christel Khalil Reveals Why She’s Taking Time Off Y&R

The Young and the Restless’ Christel Khalil is making some big changes in her life. The first thing she has decided to do is change her contract on The Young and the Restless, much to the surprise of her fans.

In fact, the brunette beauty recently opened up about her decision to go from full-time to recurring, saying that she wants to spend more time focusing on other things in her life. The actress is best known for her role as Lily on the hit CBS soap.

Christel told Soaps in Depth that she wants to spend less time working in front of the cameras and more time at home with her family. She has an 8-year-old son named Michael that she wants to spend more time with.So what does this mean for Christel’s character Lily on The Young and the Restless?

Right now, no one knows for certain but the timing is quite interesting, given the fact that Lily is in huge trouble over the car accident that led to the deaths of both Hilary and their unborn child. Her brother Devon has made it pretty clear that he’s not willing to forgive Lily for taking away the only family he has ever had in his life.

While everyone else is begging for leniency, he wants to see her locked up behind bars for as long as possible. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
