The Young and The Restless Star Cait Fairbanks Opens Up About Mental Health Struggles

The Young and the Restless star Cait Fairbanks is opening up about a subject that a lot of actors in the entertainment industry are still having a hard time talking about – at least in public. The brunette beauty revealed to her fans that she often struggles with her mental health and she wants people who are in the same position as her to know that they are definitely not alone.

Cait took to her social media account for Mental Health Day. Knowing just how important it is to talk about it so openly, the daytime television star opened up about her own personal feelings and struggles. She also thanked her family and friends for being so supportive during this difficult time.

She said on Instagram, “I’ve been dropping the ball a bit lately. Haven’t collected the energy to really put into the things and people I care about in the way I’d like to. The funny thing is, any time I reach out to apologize for not being there the people in my life have been so understanding. I’m so incredibly lucky to have those people. Mental health is something I’ve struggled to understand for a while and I’ll be working at it until I die. So thanks to the ones I love and that love me for being patient and I’m always there for you. All of this is worthless if we’re not fighting for each other’s wellness and freedom.”
