The Young and The Restless Star Burgess Jenkins Gets A New Job

It looks like this former The Young and the Restless star is going to be quite busy in the coming weeks. There’s a new report that says actor Burgers Jenkins has been cast in a new feature film and we’ve got all the details you need right here.

Burgess is best known for his role as Billy Abbott in Genoa City.  Reports say that the actor has been cast in an upcoming film called First Lady. It’s being written and directed by Nina May. While we don’t know which specific character he will play, we do know that he will be a member of the Carrington Family.

The romantic comedy film is about the characters Kate and King Max and the connection they have through Max’s granddaughter, an intern for The First Lady. Nancy Stafford is playing the First Lady, Benjamin Dane is playing President Taylor Brooks, Tanya Christainsen plays a member of the Carrington family.

In addition to all of the actors and actresses about it looks like Burgess is in good company, as My First Lady has an all-star cast. The rest of the lineup includes Michael J. Patterson, Sandy Belforte, James E. Whitley III, Missy Temme, Colby May, Parke May, Mark Arnoldi and Stacey Dash.

The cast and crew is currently filming the movie, which should wrap up sometime in November. We can’t wait to see Burges in this one. How exciting for him!
