The Young and the Restless star Alyvia Alyn Lind is a fan favorite among viewers of the CBS soap opera. Over the years we have had the privilege of watching her in the role of Faith Newman, and a front row seat to her blossoming into a talented actress. It’s no doubt that Alyvia Alyn Lind will be a megastar.

Y&R fans learned last year that the Faith Newman portrayer had joined the cast of the highly anticipated comedy Overboard. The movie is actually a reboot of the hilarious classic starring Goldie Hawn.

This week Alyvia took to Instagram and shared some big news with her followers and The Young and the Restless fans, her new film is finally set to debut in theaters! According to Lind’s social media page, Overboard will hit theaters on May 4, 2017.

Alyvia Alyn Lind is starring alongside some heavy hitters in Hollywood, including Anna Faris, Eva Longoria, and Mel Rodriguez. Lind is not the only young soap opera star to be appearing in the film. General Hospital’s Hannah Nordberg has also booked a role.

We can’t wait to see Alyvia’s new film, and will certainly be buying tickets to check it out as soon as it is in our local theaters. Congratulations are certainly in order for the tiny star, and we can’ wait to see what her next project will be!
