The Young and The Restless Star Alyvia Alyn Lind Joins News TV Show

The Young and the Restless star Alyvia Alyn Lind lands a brand new series! As a matter of fact, the young star is fast becoming one of the biggest young stars in the entertainment world. New reports indicate that she has just landed a new role in Netflix’s series, Daybreak.

Alyvia will play the role of Angelica in the high school apocalypse dramedy. According to Deadline, her role is described as someone who is a “a precocious, abrasive pyromaniac, Angelica is a pain in the ass who Josh accidentally saves from a bloodthirsty gang when he mistakes her screams for Sam’s. She begs Josh and Wesley to let her team up with them, and her flair for making Molotov cocktails starts to come in very handy.”

The publication also says that the series will be about a “17-year-old high school outcast named Josh searching for his missing girlfriend Sam in post-apocalyptic Glendale, CA. Joined by a ragtag group of misfits including a pyromaniac 12-year-old Angelica and Josh’s former high school bully Wesley, now turned pacifist samurai, Josh tries to stay alive amongst the horde of Mad Max-style gangs, zombie-like creatures called Ghoulies, and everything else this brave new world throws at him.”

Other cast members include Matthew Broderick, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett, Gregory Kasyan, Austin Crute, Cody Kearsley and Jeante Godlock. It sounds like this is a show that daytime television fans will definitely keep on their radar. We are very excited for Alyvia and this exciting opportunity.
