The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, July 24: Devon Asks Hilary to Marry Him, Hides Her Condition – Tessa Spills All to Mariah

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, July 24, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will cling to hope for Hilary (Mishael Morgan). At the hospital, Devon just doesn’t want to believe Nate’s (Brooks Darnell) prognosis. However, Nate insists that nothing can be done. He wants Devon to accept Hilary’s fate and focus on making his last moments with her count.

Devon doesn’t want to give Hilary updates on her condition. He’d rather see her keep fighting and potentially get a miracle. Later, Devon shares the dire situation with Lily (Christel Khalil) and they have a good cry. Lily eventually visits Hilary and expresses how sorry she is. She begs Hilary to forgive her, but Hil argues that’s not necessary and wants to be friends when she’s released.

After getting the scoop from Cane (Daniel Goddard, Jack (Peter Bergman) pops in as well. He’s grateful for Hilary’s friendship, so he wanted to let her know. Once Mariah (Camryn Grimes) snaps at Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), she also makes an appearance as Hilary’s bedside. Hilary teases Mariah about crying on the show and expresses her gratitude for the way she took the lead.

During a conversation about the lost baby, Hilary suggests that it was the only reason Devon reunited with her. She’s worried about losing him, but Devon enters and insists that won’t happen. Once they’re alone, Devon tells Hilary he wants to marry her again as soon as possible. He gives her an engagement ring, which she happily accepts.

Back with Mariah, she spots Tessa in the waiting area and tells her not to follow. Since Tessa’s determined to talk, she follows anyway and they both end up at Crimson Lights. Mariah mentions Tessa’s girlfriend, which prompts some confusion. Tessa ultimately realizes Mariah spotted that hug on the roof deck, so she scrambles to explain.

Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) went on the run after killing Zack (Ryan Ashton), so Tessa wanted to find her. She hired a woman named Kimberly to track her sister down. Tessa notes that since Crystal’s a fugitive, she’d thought it’d be better if Mariah didn’t know anything. She suggests that she may have to leave town, so that’s something else for “Teriah” to figure out.

Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) sneaks off to find Shauna (Camryn Hamm), who’s hiding out at the penthouse. She doesn’t want to face Hilary after inadvertently leading to the loss of her child. Charlie pushes Shauna to stop running from her issues. She should start tackling them head-on instead.

Meanwhile, a police officer calls Lily with more questions about the accident. It looks like Lily will be on the hot seat soon, which could bring out the harsh truth. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say chaos is brewing.
