The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, July 19: Hilary Fights for Life, Grim Baby News – Jack Revealed as Nick’s Ally

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, July 19, tease that the car crash aftermath will bring serious drama. At the hospital, Lily (Christel Khalil) gets examined and cleared. She doesn’t have any major injuries and neither does Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry). He escaped unscathed in the backseat.

Unfortunately, Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) in bad shape. Once Shauna (Camryn Hamm) leaves a message for Devon (Bryton James), she knocks on the door of Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) penthouse. Shauna explains that something awful just happened, so they need to get to the hospital right away.

Nate (Brooks Darnell) comes along and eventually takes charge of Hilary’s case. He argues with another doctor about the best strategy, but his goal is clear. Nate wants to save the lives of Hilary and her unborn child.

Sadly, all hope is lost for this little one. Hilary’s baby won’t make it, so Nate will have to deliver that news soon enough. In the meantime, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) get shocking updates. Once they arrive in the waiting area, Charlie speaks with his dad privately. He reveals that Lily ran a red light, but doesn’t seem to remember it.

Afterward, Nate comes back to deliver the miscarriage blow. He may have terrible info on Hilary’s condition as well. Everyone cries and huddles together as Nate speaks, so the situation doesn’t look good.

Across town, Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) determined to achieve some family peace. She calls the Newmans together for a meeting, but it doesn’t go as planned. Nikki wants her son to partner with Victor (Eric Braeden), but Nick (Joshua Morrow) rejects that idea. He’s ready to see who’ll be joining him at Dark Horse.

Summer (Hunter King) just scored a job at Fenmore’s, so she doesn’t want to walk away from that. She declines to join Nick’s empire. However, Abby (Melissa Ordway) chooses to turn her back on Newman Enterprises. She’s been treated unfairly there, so it’s time for a change. Of course, Nikki stands by her man! She assures Victor that he has her full support.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) delays her choice, so Nick decides there’s only one thing left to do. As Jack (Peter Bergman) steps out, Nick comes clean about their secret alliance. Jack’s an executive consultant at Dark Horse and will be serving as a board member, too.

Victor isn’t impressed and warns that they’re going to fail. Once the others depart, Victoria proposes a deal to Victor. She needs the COO position back if he expects her to stick around. Victoria also wants to take over the company when her father retires. Victor ultimately agrees to Victoria’s terms and promises to put it all in writing.

At the cottage, Sharon (Sharon Case) spills all the Nick chaos to Mariah (Camryn Grimes). They agree Nick definitely isn’t acting like himself. Sharon wants to hear something positive, so Mariah shares that she’s with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) now. Her mom’s happy for her, but hints that it’s best not to rush this romance. Sharon just wants Mariah to be careful.

Later, Sharon frets alone at the coffeehouse. Back at home, Mariah corners Nick and talks about how upset Sharon is. She feels like Nick’s scheme has really taken a toll on her mother. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say more mayhem’s looming, so we’ll keep you posted as other Y&R details and rumors emerge.
