The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, July 17: Hilary’s Risky Secret – Victoria and Nikki Blast Nick – Phyllis Kicks Billy Out

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) spoilers for Thursday, July 17, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will be some jaw-dropping news. At Newman Enterprises, Victor announces that Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) responsible for everything. He explains that his own son was impersonating J.T. (Thad Luckinbill).

Nikki and Victoria’s shock quickly turns to rage. They can’t believe Nick would be so cruel, so they decide to give him a stern lecture. At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Nikki and Victoria join the argument in progress. Like Sharon, they’re furious with Nick for stooping so low. Nick hates that they were fearful, but he’s not sorry he fought for Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) and his family.

Later, Nikki reconvenes with Victor (Eric Braeden) and shares how frosty Nick’s become. Victor suggests Nick hasn’t won this war yet, so it sounds like he’s got a few tricks up his sleeve. At home, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) rages over Summer (Hunter King) and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) secrets. They’ve been covering for each other and that’s just not going to work for Phyllis.

After storming upstairs and packing a bag for Billy, she tosses it down and tells him to get out. Phyllis refuses to live with a guy she doesn’t trust. Summer pipes up in protest, but Billy thinks it’s futile. He feels like there’s no getting through to Phyllis, so he just grabs the bag and takes off.

At Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary’s (Michael Morgan) penthouse, Shauna (Camryn Hamm) vents to Hil about uptight Lily (Christel Khalil). Hilary agrees Charlie’s (Noah Alexander Gerry) mom can be a bit tense. Later, Charlie meets up with Shauna and confesses he’s falling for her. She feels the same way, so they make plans to make love the next night.

Over with Hilary, she has a secret meeting with a man named Mark. Hilary appreciates the fact that he was discreet about this. Unfortunately, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) spoil that discretion plan somewhat. During their evening together, they waltz over to say hi and reveal that they’re on a date. Hilary’s cool about it, which pleasantly surprises Tessa and Mariah.

Cautious Hilary also introduces Mark as an old friend. Once the gals take off to finish their date, Hilary resumes her meeting. She notes that Mark painted an impressive picture, but she’s not willing to put the life she’s built with Devon on the line. Hilary adds that Devon can never know the real reason for Mark’s visit.

Is Hilary hiding a job offer or some other big secret? This “Young and the Restless” storyline is definitely going to bring some bombshells. In the meantime, Tessa and Mariah lock lips again. They share a sweet moment under the stars, but trouble could be brewing in this romance. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s ahead in Genoa City.
