The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, July 23: Nate Predicts Fatal Outcome for Hilary – Mariah Gets a Shock – Kyle Learns a Secret

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 23, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case) will have Nick (Joshua Morrow) on her mind. At home, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) notes that they both kept secrets and suggests they should work this out. When the topic of her date comes up, Mariah admits that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) bailed to meet another woman.

At the hospital, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) sobs over the accident. She feels to blame for even being in the car. Hilary’s upset over the way things played out with Shauna (Camryn Hamm), but Devon does his best to comfort her. They eventually realize they need to handle the show situation. Hilary thinks Mariah will do fine on her own, so Devon calls to break the news and make a request.

On the phone, Mariah starts crying about Hilary and the lost baby. She agrees to host alone and once she’s on the air, makes a powerful speech about Hilary. Back in Hilary’s room, she watches the show with Devon by her side. Later, Nate (Brooks Darnell) and Devon talk privately. The doc confesses that Hilary’s bleeding is still out of control. Nate admits Hilary probably won’t pull through.

At Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) apartment, she wakes up next to Nick (Joshua Morrow). They’re on the same page about the hookup being a mistake. Nick and Phyllis decide to bury the secret, but there’s a problem. Kyle (Michael Mealor) shows up while Nick’s showering and spots the pants he left behind. He gets Phyllis to confess that she slept with someone else, but she insists it was a one-time thing.

Phyllis tells Kyle to keep his mouth shut, but something tells us he won’t! For now, Kyle enjoys annoying Phyllis. When she arrives to see Billy at Jabot, Kyle’s there to make cryptic comments. Phyllis focuses on the task at hand, which is making up with Billy. She achieves her goal, but a setback quickly follows.

Billy doesn’t want to attend a support group for his gambling addiction. He’s irritated that Phyllis mentioned it and doesn’t know when he’ll be home. At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place, Nick meets up with her and they address their issues. After a deep conversation, “Shick” is on again.

Sharon grins as Nick happily places his engagement ring back on her finger. Their bliss has returned, but for how long? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick and Sharon’s secrets are destined to blow sooner or later.
