The Young and the Restless Spoilers: When Paternity Results Revealed – Victor First in Line to Raise Christian

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his relationship with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) hasn’t exactly been going smoothly lately, especially since both are keeping some rather disturbing secrets from each other. The incident with Chelsea being too busy getting involved with Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) altercation, giving Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) time to whisk away Christian may very well crack their very foundation.

Y&R fans have to wonder what will happen to this once loving couple, when all the lies and deception is exposed; who will truly end up raising the munchkin then? Surely many will feel that Chelsea would fight to hold onto the little boy because he is the last thing Adam (then-Justin Hartley) left her, but from a legal standpoint she has no right to see him, especially after Nick learns that she knew all along that Christian wasn’t his son at all; the last thing Nick needs is the woman who betrayed him, standing beside him as he fights for a child that isn’t even his!

The Young and the Restless sources believe our hearts will be torn over how much Nick will be hurt by the betrayal, losing a child that was never his to begin with. He has a deep connection to Christian and will have to cope with now losing that last thing that connected him to Sage (Kelly Sullivan). This leaves one question, who is going to raise Christian? Should it be Nick Newman? We have seen him raising Christian as his son but Y&R viewers have to remember how much he loathed Adam, does it seem right that he would raise the son of a man he absolutely hated?

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Christian’s only living relative that could legally raise him would be the infallible Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Nick and Victor have been butting heads over everything lately, as Nick is determined to prove he can live his life completely away from the Newman name and business.

How do you think Nick will cope with his father snatching Christian away, revealing that Christian is Adam’s son and he is his legal guardian? It looks like there is an epic family feud ahead for the Newman father-son. Who do you feel has the right to raise you Christian Newman – Nick, the man who raised him believing he was his father or Victor, the one who allowed the lie to go on, only to swoop in and steal the child when it suited him.
