The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, September 12: Nick Comes Clean, Makes a Deal – Victor Recognizes Dina’s Mystery Man

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, September 12, tease that Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) latest arrest will make waves in Genoa City. At the police station, Sharon (Sharon Case) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) mull over the reason for Nick’s arrest. They wonder if the impersonation plot is to blame.

Abby (Melissa Ordway) walks over and contemplates whether or not she played a role in this. She admits she’s been blabbing to Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) inadvertently. Victor (Eric Braeden) appears and immediately faces accusations from Sharon. Abby seems suspicious as well, but Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) insists Victor didn’t rat Nick out.

Afterward, Brittany (Lauren Woodland) arrives to help Nick out. Rey thinks Nick was working with J.T., but Nick denies it. During a private chat with Brittany, Nick admits Rey’s on the right track. He reveals his Newman Enterprises sabotage and later accepts the DA’s deal. Nick gets full immunity in exchange for any information he has on J.T. He ultimately begins his impersonation confession.

Mariah receives word that her GC Buzz guest backed out, so Abby offers a suggestion. It revolves around secrets and long-lost family members. They head to The Dive Bar to prepare for the show, but Mariah speaks with Kyle (Michael Mealor) first. She fills him in on Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) love profession and suggests that things are fine between them now.

Kyle’s demeanor tells Mariah that something’s bothering him, so she pushes until he comes clean about the bet. Mariah’s relieved that there was no Summer (Hunter King) sex last night. She doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Kyle to get sucked back in and open himself up to more heartbreak.

After waking up alone, Summer texts Kyle and gets a cold response. She heads to Crimson Lights and irritates Tessa with her complicated coffee order. Summer gripes that the barista only got the job because she’s dating Mariah, which irks Tessa. She wonders if Summer has a problem with them being together, but “Snowflake” insists that’s not the case.

Summer actually thinks it’s nice when two people are on the same page and want something to happen. Tessa shifts gears and hints that Summer’s afraid to love. She advises her to ditch the attitude and give it a real shot. Back with Mariah, she kicks off GC Buzz and lets Abby put up the picture of Dina’s (Marla Adams) mystery man.

As Abby seeks info from viewers, Victor looks stunned nearby. Y&R fans are eventually going to learn that the guy in the photo could be Vic’s own father. Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) tells Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about a big horse bet he made. After he loses, Billy informs Phyllis that he plans to give it another try. She seems worried about the dangerous path Billy’s headed down.
