The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, October 24: Lily Faces Prison Danger – Jack’s Stunning Admission – Traci’s Had Enough

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, October 24, tease that we’ll see some fake flashbacks of the Abbott clan. These scenes will offer a glimpse of this family’s past and help us understand the future. Y&R viewers can expect revelations about John (Jerry Douglas), Dina (Marla Adams), Jack (Peter Bergman), Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland).

In one flashback, a young John surprises young Dina with a new car. The kids are eager to go out for a spin, but Dina insists she’s too busy. Ashley wants her mom to cave in, but Jack rushes to Dina’s defense. Later, Jack gripes about Ashley being their father’s favorite. John indeed dotes in Ashley in another flashback. However, it’s clear that Jack gets most of his mom’s attention.

Dina speaks with Jack privately about needing to go away for a while. She eventually tells John, who tries to talk her out of it. Since Dina’s mind is made up, John determines that her family can’t satisfy her. Dina doesn’t seem to think John will even miss her once she’s gone.

Back in the present day, Traci worries about the path her family’s headed down. She decides to call a meeting and put everyone back on the right track. Before they attend, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Ashley discuss where they stand. Ash wants to make amends, but Billy promptly shuts down the idea. He snarls that Ashley’s getting a taste of being the black sheep.

Afterward, the Abbotts gather to hash things out. Traci leads the way and forces them to address the pain of the past. She feels like her siblings are letting it hold them back. There’s no reason to focus on old wounds and let it control how they move forward.

Jack ultimately chooses to make a admission. He reveals that John and Dina left a contract behind for Ashley. Jack comes clean about Ashley having ownership of all the patents and product lines she came up with. In prison, Cane (Daniel Goddard) pops in for another visit with his wife. He’s agitated when he’s kept waiting too long, so he demands to see Lily (Christel Khalil) right away.

Unfortunately, Cane doesn’t get the chance. He’s given updates on an incident between Lily and some other inmates. She stepped up to defend a new friend and got caught in the conflict. Now Lily’s become a target, so she’s been isolated for her own protection. Until the details are nailed down and it’s all squared away, she can’t see her loved ones.
