The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, May 9: Furious Jack Blasts Dina – Billy Supports His Brother – Cane Defends Charlie

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 9, tease that the Abbott chaos will continue. In the movie theater, Jack (Peter Bergman) wants to hear what Dina (Marla Adams) said on the last clip again. He hears he’s not John’s (Jerry Douglas) son once more and goes to drink away his pain.

Billy (Jason Thompson) sits by Jack at the athletic club bar. He notes that they don’t know for sure that it’s true, but Jack believes it might be. Billy argues that DNA doesn’t change anything about their father or their bond as siblings. Jack remembers making similar claims to Ashley (Eileen Davidson), but it’s different now that he’s facing this blow.

Victor (Eric Braeden) waltzes over to offer fake compassion, but Billy manages to tear Jack away from his enemy. The last thing Jack needs right now is more drama. Meanwhile, Traci (Beth Maitland) takes an oblivious Dina upstairs while Kyle (Michael Mealor) fishes for sympathy. He notes that he’s facing pain over the revelation as well, but Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Ashley want to focus on Jack.

After Billy and Jack come home, a confession is made. Ash and Abby bring up the fact that they knew before tonight. They add that the DNA test results backed up Dina’s interview. Jack is devastated, so he ends up taking it out on Dina when she reappears. Dina starts ranting about everybody discussing her and suggests John wouldn’t approve. Jack finally pushes his mother to just shut up.

Once Traci leads Dina out of the room, Ashley hints that Jack should go easy on Dina. She’s old and doesn’t know what’s going on thanks to dementia. Jack’s still reeling, so he refers to John as their only parent. He adds that he won’t let Dina wreck his life with all the craziness.

After chatting with a distraught Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), Cane (Daniel Goddard) decides to get to the bottom of all this. He stops by the Abbott mansion and asks about the added footage. Cane insists that Charlie knew nothing about it, so he doesn’t want his son held responsible.

It looks like Victor (Eric Braeden) or Kyle may be to blame. They’re the ones with a motive to hurt Jack deeply. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say more bombshells are brewing, so we’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s ahead in Genoa City.
