The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, May 30: Victor’s Threat Enrages Nick – Runaway Shauna Stuns Charlie – Hilary’s Pregnant

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 30, tease that Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) will remain at the center of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) conflict. At the ranch, Nick lashes out at Victor for bringing up Christian’s paternity. He realizes Vic’s been keeping the secret for a long time. Victor notes that he never used it against his son, but Nick fires back that he’s using it now.

Despite Nick’s objections, Victor believes Christian should carry on the family legacy one day. Nick gripes about his dad’s refusal to change. He eventually leaves in a huff, but Victor catches up with him later. Nick’s stunned when Victor threatens to sue for custody of Christian. If Nick dares to keep Vic’s grandson away from him, that’s exactly the scenario he’ll be looking at.

Nick isn’t scared since Victor’s a convicted felon. Why would any judge give him custody? Of course, Victor argues that he’s got the resources to make this happen. He also enrages Nick by dragging Sharon (Sharon Case) into this. Victor notes that getting back together with Sharon shows Nick makes bad decisions. He indicates that the court can determine who Christian should be with.

At the Abbott mansion, Traci (Beth Maitland) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) decide to work together. They realize Jack (Peter Bergman) moved out, so they head over to the athletic club to change his mind. Things are tense between Jack and Kyle, so Traci speaks with her brother alone. She suggests that Jack needs to give Kyle a chance and come home for Dina’s (Marla Adams) benefit.

Jack understands Traci’s point of view, but he needs to find a new path. He wants to learn who he is outside of that house and John’s (Jerry Douglas) shadow. Afterward, Traci updates a worried Kyle. Back with Jack, he bumps into Devon (Bryton James) and shares his plans to do something different with his life. Devon feels like he might be able to pitch in.

At the TV studio, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) notices Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) bizarre behavior and ultimately gets a shock. Hilary’s an emotional mess as she falls into Mariah’s arms and announces that she’s pregnant. Elsewhere, Shauna (Camryn Hamm) runs away from home and fills in a surprised Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry). She’s desperate for a place to hide out for a while.
