The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, May 16: Jack’s Shocking Car Crash – Paul Pushes Victoria – Abby & Arturo’s Cabin Moments

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, May 16, tease that Paul (Doug Davidson) will be determined to get answers. At Newman Enterprises, he bumps into Abby (Melissa Ordway) and learns Jack’s (Peter Bergman) missing. Paul promises to fill his officers in, but he soon turns Abby’s attention to the night of the party.

When Paul asks if Abby went to Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) place that evening, she confirms that she didn’t. Later, Paul finally corners Victoria and grills her once more. He brings up the texts on J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) cell, which indicate he was angry. J.T. sent Victoria messages and pushed her not to ignore him.

Victoria scrambles to explain everything away, but Paul brings up the conflicting stories about Abby. He’s convinced that lies have been told. After her back’s against the wall, Victoria insists she’ll tell Paul everything. However, Y&R fans can expect Victoria to fudge the details of her “confession” on Thursday.

At the Abbott cabin, Jack keeps up his meltdown by drinking more alcohol. He makes a video about Dina’s interview and burns the family memory book. Jack feels like the Abbotts are a myth now, so he just doesn’t care.

Meanwhile, the Abbotts continue to worry about Jack. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) comfort Dina (Marla Adams), who’s upset that “John” hasn’t come home. Abby (Melissa Ordway) eventually decides to check out the cabin with Arturo’s (Jason Canela) help. A storm’s rolling in, so Arturo takes Abby up there in his truck.

Once they walk in the cabin, Abby sees evidence that Jack’s been there. They search outside in hopes of finding him fishing. Arturo and Abby get drenched in the downpour, so they come back in and peel off their wet layers. Abby clearly finds a shirtless Arturo appealing. They start talking and ultimately lean in for steaminess.

Back with Jack, he’s speeding down the road as it rains. Jack battles painful thoughts, but tries to drown them out with loud music. He suddenly veers off the road and crashes his vehicle. At the ranch, Victor (Eric Braeden) gets a visit from Kyle. They talk about their current arrangement, which includes Kyle handing over Jabot secrets.

Kyle’s anxious to lock down his Newman position, but Victor wants more info first. He pushes Kyle to keep giving him updates on Jabot. Kyle admits that Billy’s (Jason Thompson) in charge now, but Ashley’s micromanaging him every step of the way. Victor grins and assures Kyle that he’s doing a good job.
