The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, July 25: Hilary Realizes Death Is Near – Nick Comforts Phyllis – Mariah’s Shocking Suggestion

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, July 25, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will move forward with the wedding plans. At home, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) gets her invitation and expresses concern to Sharon (Sharon Case). Devon intends to marry Hilary (Mishael Morgan) in the hospital, so Mariah assumes things aren’t looking good.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) gets her own invite and stops by Hilary’s room. She’s so sorry about the baby, but the mood shifts when she agrees to by Hilary’s maid of honor. Afterward, Cane (Daniel Goddard) gives Hilary an apology. He hates that he kept Hilary away from Sam, but they quickly move past the issue. Hilary assures Cane that she doesn’t blame anyone for the accident either.

In the waiting area, Devon comes clean to Neil (Kristoff St. John). He confesses that Hilary’s dying, so Neil embraces him. When Phyllis walks in, she gets updates as well. That leads to a warm moment with Nick (Joshua Morrow) a bit later. Sharon (Sharon Case) catches Nick hugging Phyllis and wonders what’s going on.

Phyllis admits that Hilary probably won’t make it, so Sharon expresses her sympathy. Once Phyllis is gone, Sharon reflects on her relationship with Nick. She’s grateful they’re still a couple. Over with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), he persuades Shauna (Camryn Hamm) to visit Hilary. After she arrives, Hilary reassures the guilt-ridden teen and asks her to be a bridesmaid.

Later, Hilary finally gets a clue. She realizes this rushed wedding seems awfully suspicious. Phyllis tries to distract Hilary with bridal dresses, but Hil insists on knowing the truth. An emotional Phyllis confirms that Hilary’s prognosis is grim, but she insists doctors can be wrong sometimes. Phyllis doesn’t want her to give up, so Hilary promises to keep fighting.

At Hamilton-Winters, Mariah and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) discuss their options. When Mariah suggests clearing Crystal’s (Morgan Obenreder) name, Tessa doesn’t think it’ll work. She insists the only possibility is for Crystal to keep hiding out. Mariah grows frustrated, but Tessa feels like being apart is for the best. She doesn’t think she’s good enough for Mariah.

Of course, Mariah begs to differ. She praises Tessa’s kind heart and vows to leave town with her if that’s what it takes. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Mariah and Tessa’s bond will grow stronger as they try to figure this out.
