Meanwhile, Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) a little weirded out by Hilary’s emotional moments. Hil thinks Mariah and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) could be good together, but battles tears as she talks about obstacles. As Hilary closes the show later, she seems choked up once again. Hilary cryptically mentions changes and suggests you never know what the future will bring.
Back with Lily, she gets Mattie to spill the real story and learns Charlie’s with Shauna. Lily rushes over to the penthouse to tear the sex-crazed teens apart. She’s ranting at Shauna when Hilary walks in. Naturally, Lily starts raging at Hil as well. Charlie eventually discovers that Shauna took off, so he convinces Lily and Hilary to help him look for her.

The three of them get in the car, but Lily remains furious in the driver’s seat. Lily contends that Devon never should’ve signed on for parenthood with Hilary. She doesn’t think Hilary has any business being a mother, but tragedy’s looming. Just after Lily utters those fateful words, a semi-truck veers toward them and slams into the vehicle.
Over with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), they ponder a bizarre invitation. Abby (Melissa Ordway) arrives and is equally confused. The invite’s from a company that raided Newman Enterprises, so Abby doesn’t understand why they’re wanted at the reception.
Summer (Hunter King) and Sharon (Sharon Case) get invitations as well. Once everyone’s gathered, Nick (Joshua Morrow) steps out and announces his plans. He’s purchased Dark Horse and intends to build his own Newman legacy.
Nick goes through all the reasons his family members should join his team. He doesn’t think they should let Victor (Eric Braeden) control their lives anymore. None of them will ever be good enough anyway. Summer’s impressed by everything her dad’s accomplished, but the rest of the group’s uneasy.
It’s clear that Nick’s becoming more and more like Victor every day. Nevertheless, he believes he can create a brighter future for the Newman clan. Nick pushes everyone to help him with his new venture, but there are plenty of hesitant faces in this group.
“The Young and the Restless” viewers know being disloyal to Victor comes at a price. The other Newmans may not be on board with provoking Victor’s wrath! We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s ahead in Genoa City.
