The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, January 31: Chelsea’s Sneaky Move – Victor Warns Tessa – Cane Confronts Lily About Sam

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 31, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will overhear part of Noah (Robert Adamson) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) chat. At the penthouse, Nick talks to Noah about the importance of trust in a relationship. Afterward, Chelsea nervously dumps all the recently discovered cash in a bag. She plans to hide it once again.

At the columbarium, Chelsea finds the slot with Adam’s (Justin Hartley) name. She opens it and sticks the money inside. Meanwhile, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) get updates on Devon’s (Bryton James) purchase of GC Buzz. They’re not thrilled about working in each other’s orbit, but Hilary (Mishael Morgan) insists this is how it has to be.

At Jabot, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) stops by to get some belongings she left behind. She speaks to Jack (Peter Bergman) about the paternity dig before meeting up with Ravi (Abhi Sinha). Ravi notes that Jabot won’t be the same without Ash around.

When Jack spots Victor (Eric Braeden) at the athletic club, he tells Vic to give Ashley fair treatment. Nick is taken aback once he hears Ashley’s joining the Newman team. Meanwhile, Lauren’s (Tracey E. Bregman) perplexed by Fenmore’s dilemma. When there’s no record of a recent online sale, Ravi looks into it. His investigation finds that the Chelsea 2.0 website has been duplicated to sell knockoffs.

Back with Victor, he listens to Noah’s Tessa troubles. Afterward, Victor warns Tessa to stay away from the Newmans and stop causing pain. Tessa hopes Mariah can tolerate her for work’s sake, but Mariah doesn’t seem interested.

Fortunately, Noah and Mariah begin to move forward. They share a laugh over Mariah’s current GC Buzz situation before catching a movie. At Hamilton-Winters, Devon and Hilary enjoy a mini celebration. They drink Champagne and get their flirt on, but Tessa intrudes to retrieve some documents.

At home, Lily (Christel Khalil) continues to have a hard time connecting with Sam. Cane (Daniel Goddard) sees Lily struggling on the baby monitor installed on his tablet. He eventually talks to Lily about how her difficulties.

Cane notes that Lily recently deceived him to avoid caring for Sam. He thinks it’d be good for them to get out of the house as a couple. Cane takes Lily to see a film and they hold hands as they watch. It sounds like this date night could be helpful.
