The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, January 24: Chelsea Longs for Adam – Hilary’s Baby Mission Heats Up – Jack and Ashley’s Vicious Battle

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, January 24, tease that Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) mistake will leave Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in despair. At home, Nick accidentally breaks a bottle of Chelsea’s perfume. When he sees how upset she is, Chelsea claims it’s because that kind’s been discontinued.

Afterward, Chelsea leans on Sharon (Sharon Case) at Crimson Lights. She notes that Adam (Justin Hartley) gave her that perfume as a gift. Chelsea opens up about how much she still cares about Adam. He could be a bit on the dangerous side at times, but they adored each other. Once they discuss now different Nick is from his brother, Sharon asks if Chelsea wishes he were more like Adam.

Chelsea doesn’t admit that, but she says Adam’s the reason she doesn’t want to move out of the penthouse. It’s clear that Chelsea’s clinging to anything that will help her feel close to him. Sharon points out that Chelsea still has Adam’s son in her life. She thinks that’s something Chelsea can hold on to. When Chelsea returns home, sweetie-pie Nick has tracked down more perfume.

Meanwhile, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) seeks a doctor’s advice regarding her motherhood plans. Once the appointment’s over, Hilary searches for a sperm donor online. Devon’s (Bryton James) taken aback when he walks over and learns the news. He expresses some mild disapproval, but Hilary shuts it down. Talk turns to business since Hilary’s thinking about selling GC Buzz. Devon offers to buy it back from her.

Elsewhere, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) battle heats up. They sit down with their lawyers and an arbitrator, but things take a vicious turn. Ashley contends that she’s part of the Abbott family and always has been. She thinks this amendment is an absurd way to hurt her.

Jack delivers a low blow by bringing up Ashley’s relationship with Dina (Marla Adams). He suggests that Ash will never truly let go of Dina’s mistakes. Jack accuses Ashley of targeting his family. He acts like he’s just the latest victim. Ashley’s appalled, but the meeting eventually wraps up. The arbitrator wants to think this over until tomorrow. She plans to deliver her decision then.

Jack feels terrible about causing pain for Ashley, but he believes he was forced into this situation. Their war has gotten out of hand, but it’s not over yet. Y&R viewers can expect additional shockers after the arbitrator announces her choice. We’ll give you updates as other “Young and the Restless” details and rumors emerge.
