The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, August 15: Summer Drops Bomb – Phyllis Supports Lily – Victor Warns Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, August 15, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will get an earful from Michael (Christian LeBlanc). At Crimson Lights, they argue about the Jabot and Fenmore’s situation. Michael’s upset that Phyllis is in Billy’s (Jason Thompson) corner, but she thinks he knows what he’s doing. Phyllis suggests she can calm Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) down later.

The conversation shifts to Lily (Christel Khalil) and her potential prison sentence. Michael feels jail time is too harsh, but Devon’s (Bryton James) standing his ground. Phyllis understands Devon’s need for justice, but Michael notes that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) wouldn’t have wanted all this.

Phyllis stops by Hamilton-Winters later and spots Lily, who explains Neil (Kristoff St. John) helped her keep her job. Devon insists on working from home as a result. Phyllis can tell that Lily’s remorseful, so she offers her support. She’s changed her tune about revenge. It would only cause more sorrow in the end, so Phyllis is backing Lily up. The ladies share a sweet hug before Phyllis departs.

Next, it’s Michael’s turn to reach out. He vows to request leniency and learns Cane (Daniel Goddard) wanted to flee. Michael’s relieved that Lily’s going to face the music. Running wouldn’t have worked and would’ve blown Lily’s shot at mercy.

Meanwhile, Kyle (Michael Mealor) grills Summer (Hunter King) about her next move. She assures him that by the time she’s through, Phyllis and Billy’s relationship will be permanently destroyed. Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) appear soon after. Naturally, Summer takes the opportunity to ask for the secret to a successful relationship. She’s really milking her big secret!

Nick also argues with Victor (Eric Braeden) in Wednesday’s episode. After Nick enjoys a cake-tasting with Sharon, he has to take off and deal with work matters. Victor pushes Sharon’s buttons once she’s alone, but she does her best to avoid all the drama. Still, Victor makes an unsettling comparison before their chat concludes. He notes that Nick may be more like his father than Sharon wants to admit.

Back with Kyle and Summer, they discuss the looming “Philly” chaos. Kyle wants Summer to be certain about dropping this bomb, but concedes it might work out for him at Jabot. Summer may worm her way into Billy’s bed thanks to this tidbit. If the truth comes out, perhaps it’ll cause a scandal and allow Kyle to move up the corporate ladder.

At home, Summer gets updates on the latest Fenmore’s trouble. Phyllis suggests they should try to get a grip on Billy, but Summer blasts her mom for going behind his back. She ignores Phyllis’ claims that they’re solid and pushes her to spill why she cheated.

Phyllis doesn’t admit to it at first, but Summer’s determined to expose this. She snarls that she knows what Phyllis did and who she did it with. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Summer’s going to be a real handful, so Nick and Phyllis will have to take drastic action.
