The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, September 18: Victor’s Warning Backfires – Billy’s Major Risk – Mariah Is Horrified

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, September 18, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will seem a bit agitated. At Jabot, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) catches him wrapping up a call and wonders if his gambling is the real issue. Billy comes clean about the organization’s invite and argues that his Jabot budget cuts will work out. He feels confident that he’s got a grip on the situation.

Phyllis meets up with Summer (Hunter King) soon after. She realizes Summer’s upset about all the drama with Kyle (Michael Mealor), so they chat at The Dive Bar. Summer confesses that she wanted to hurt Phyllis by going after Billy. Phyllis doesn’t get why she deserved such a betrayal, but Summer rants about all the things her mother’s done.

Once they rehash the past, Summer doesn’t know if they can repair their bond. Nevertheless, Phyllis feels like this discussion’s a good start. Meanwhile, Kyle visits Lola again and suggests that he’s sorry if he was a snob the other day. Lola spars with controlling Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) briefly before she spots Kyle again at the coffeehouse. She wants to know if he’s going to ask her out or not.

Kyle indeed asks Lola on a date and seems impressed by how bold she is. Over with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), she catches Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) off guard with a hug. After Tessa winces in pain, Mariah forces her to come clean about what happened. She’s horrified by the bruises and wants to pay the baddies off with her own money.

Tessa nixes the idea, but suggests Mariah could help by getting her a job with more hours and better pay. Mariah ends up asking Nick (Joshua Morrow), who needs assistance at Dark Horse. He lets Tessa get started right away, but she’s jumpy by herself at the office. Mariah surprises Tessa when she waltzes in with dinner and nearly gets attacked with a stapler.

Once Tessa calms down, she’s appreciative. However, she feels like this relationship is all take and no give on her end. Mariah insists that’s not the case and moves in for a kiss. Back with Rey, he asks Victor (Eric Braeden) some questions about J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). Rey also notes that despite the sabotage, Victor still seems to care about Nick. Vic argues that some bonds aren’t easily broken.

Jack meets with Billy (Jason Thompson), who’s wrestling with a decision. Billy is urged to take action, so he does. He gets Gloria (Judith Chapman) to handle a substantial wire transfer, which certainly leaves her suspicious. Back with Jack, he considers dropping his search for father answers. A warning from Victor ultimately changes Jack’s mind.

Victor feels like Jack should stay out of the Newman family’s business. He adds that Jack shouldn’t try to come for his legacy, but Jack suggests that Vic can’t stop him. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say the war is on, so don’t miss the shockers ahead.
