Nikki ponders the idea of them finding their way back to each other, but Summer doesn’t think it should happen. She argues that Billy needs someone who will make him happy and that’s not her mom. Nikki eventually tracks down Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who’s still on edge over the note she received. After Victoria explains, Nikki suggests they should get a private investigator to look into this.
Victoria doesn’t like that plan, so they decide to just sit tight for a while. Soon after, Nikki receives a note with the same exact threat. They assume their mutual warning ties back to J.T. (Thad Luckinbill). At Crimson Lights, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) learns Lola (Sasha Calle) has caught Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) eye. She’s intrigued, so she starts chatting Lola up about how they met.

Tessa suggests she’s not a matchmaker, but she’s hoping things work out for Kyle and Lola. She hints that Kyle’s ex is a nightmare and mentions Summer’s name. At Jabot, Kyle provides a report on the boutiques Billy set in motion. Ashley likes the newest info, so she changes her mind about scrapping them.
Kyle thinks he deserves to fill the COO spot, but Ashley isn’t interesting in giving it to him. They argue about how Kyle played dirty to get rid of Billy. Ashley notes that she could’ve fired Kyle for that, but he feels unappreciated. Kyle implies that everyone will see Ashley’s dark side before long.
Later, Kyle makes time for a date with Lola. They address the topic of Summer, but Kyle promises he’s put her behind him. Once their evening concludes, Lola heads out of the coffeehouse. She comes back after a moment to give Kyle a steamy kiss. A gawking Summer witnesses the display of affection nearby.
Back with Ashley, she has a celebratory dinner with Neil (Kristoff St. John). Ashley’s happy to be taking the Jabot throne, but she’s not proud of all it took to get her there. She suggests she made some not-so-great moves. Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), Ashley’s “consulting” partner, saunters over to request a private chat. After Ashley grants him one, Andrew pushes for a higher salary.
Ashley decides their business has concluded instead, so Andrew offers a warning. He contends that secrecy doesn’t matter if he’s not getting his money. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Ashley will land in quite a mess soon. She’s about to spark an Abbott family crisis, so we’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
