Unfortunately, trouble’s always just around the corner. This time it comes in the form of Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), who presents herself as a CEO option. At Jabot, Billy objects to Phyllis’ throne pursuit. Jack wishes Phyllis luck, but he secretly doesn’t have much faith in her to pull it off. Billy doesn’t either, so they discuss it once Phyllis is gone.
Summer (Hunter King) pipes up that her mom shouldn’t be underestimated. She feels like Phyllis just might surprise them. At Crimson Lights, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) chat about Halloween costumes. Nick (Joshua Morrow) brings Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) soon after.
Thanks to her mom and dad’s breakup, Faith’s not very interested in Halloween this year. Nick and Mariah work to get her haunted holiday spirit. At the police station, Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) scores an invite to the Crimson Lights Halloween bash. He jokes about Sharon (Sharon Case) asking him so he won’t complain about the noise downstairs.
When Nick pops in with the kids, Faith asks Sharon if she’ll come with them to the pumpkin patch. After she gets on board, Sharon sends Mariah a text and asks her to come, too. Tessa’s also invited, so they all head over for some fall fun.
Rey and Lola (Sasha Calle) end up at the pumpkin patch as well, which obviously isn’t what Nick had in mind. He does his best to win Sharon over with family bonding and warm memories, but Mariah offers a warning. She doesn’t want her mom to feel pressured by her ex.
Faith meets Rey and comments on how much Sharon’s mentioned him. Afterward, Sharon heads back to the police station and continues the unintentional Rey flirting. On Y&R, it’s always a fine line between friendship and something more! Nikki barges in soon enough and drags Sharon off to a meeting. That leaves Rey once again wondering about their so-called charity work.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki, Sharon and Phyllis all discuss a new problem. There’s a water leak in Chancellor Park, which means the sculpture will have to be removed. Naturally, that poses a risk to the cover-up crew. Disturbing the ground underneath could lead to a shocking discovery. After much deliberation, the gang decides to dig J.T.’s body up and move it ASAP.
Kyle gets shut down by Lola again, but he doesn’t give up. Later, Kyle makes one more apology effort and it pays off. Lola can’t promise she’ll be free, but she agrees to let Kyle call her. Can these two get back on track? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Summer will continue to make waves, so we’ll give you updates as other news and rumors emerge. Stay tuned to see what’s next in Genoa City.
