The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, October 23: Jack Destroys Ashley’s Contract, Traci Finds Out – Lily Escapes to Fantasy World

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, October 23, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will make the best of a bad situation. In prison, Lily uses some fake make-up hacks. She creates some “lipstick” out of candies and adds glitter eyeshadow off the cards she received. Lily lets herself get lost in a fantasy world as well. She imagines being out for a wonderful evening with Cane (Daniel Goddard).

Elsewhere, Neil (Kristoff St. John) and Devon (Bryton James) confront Cane about blowing off his last visit. After getting a lecture, Cane agrees to step up for Lily. He heads over for visiting hours with Devon by his side. The guys comment on Lily’s “make-up,” so she admits little things like that are helping. Lily mentions other ways she’s trying to improve her outlook, so Cane’s pleased.

In a moment alone, Cane and Lily talk about her date night fantasy. He wants to make it a reality as soon as they possibly can. Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) finds Dina (Marla Adams) flipping out on Kyle (Michael Mealor) at Jabot. He’s brought up to speed on the contract, which would give Ashley (Eileen Davidson) control of every patent and product line she’s developed.

Jack determines that this would mean disaster for Jabot. They could go bankrupt if they honor this contract, so he decides it has to go in the shredder. Dina’s upset, but Jack maintains that it’s for the best. He destroys the papers and hopes that’ll be the end of it.

Later, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Ashley discuss the paternity plot again. Despite Abby’s disapproval, Ashley’s adamant that it wasn’t about vengeance. She wanted to reclaim her family spot. Ash was looking out for Abby as well, but Abby wishes she’d known beforehand. She would’ve tried to stop what Ashley had in motion.

Talk turns to Ashley’s resentment of Dina and how she wants to rise above it. She doesn’t want that same outcome with Abby. The blondes hug it out before Ashley has a chat with Jack. He notes that he’d like to find a way past their issues. Jack acknowledges that he played a role in driving Ashley to the edge. They agree to move forward if they can, but what about Jack’s new secret?

Traci’s (Beth Maitland) going to care of that pretty soon! After advising Kyle about Lola (Sasha Calle), Traci learns something surprising. Dina rages about Kyle not pitching in enough at the office. She talks about the destruction that went down, so Traci leaves to check it out for herself.

Once Traci’s inside, she finds the paper remnants and puts them back together. When she’s done, Traci’s stunned over her discovery. She reads the contract and contemplates her next move. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say even more Abbott family mayhem’s ahead. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news and rumors emerge.
