The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, May 1: Billy & Kyle Team Up To Remove Abbot Clause – Nikki & Victor End Their Arrangement

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, May 1, tease that Sharon’s (Sharon Case) guilt will rev up again. At the ranch, Sharon drops by to see Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). Instead, she’s greeted by Victor (Eric Braeden) and talk turns to the hunt for J.T. (Thad Luckinbell). Victor senses that Sharon’s on edge, but Nikki hustles in and manages to rescue her.

In the stables, Sharon rants about J.T.’s kids thinking he abandoned them. When Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) joins them, she helps Nikki handle the threat. They urge Sharon to see how much this would hurt her own children as well as Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle). Sharon doesn’t want to to put any of them through a prison sentence, so she agrees to get a grip and just deal with the guilt.

Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) stops an argument between Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Billy (Jason Thompson). They’re clashing over business issues, so Jack insists Billy’s opinion matters more as COO. He suggests Kyle’s lucky to even have a job, which is true since his partnership with Victor was discovered!

Afterward, Kyle sets up a private discussion with Billy. He mentions the blood-Abbott clause and pushes to get rid of it. Kyle feels like it’s been causing unnecessary tension within the Abbott family. He convincing Billy that scrapping it is for the best, so they take the idea to Jack.

Unfortunately, Jack’s reluctant to make any sudden moves. He argues that Jabot could end up in an outsider’s hands if they aren’t careful. Back with Nikki, she spots Victor walking a little. Nikki’s glad to see her husband’s recovery is going well. When conversation shifts to Arturo (Jason Canela) and Helen (Sitara Hewitt), they agree to ditch this open marriage plan.

Over at Crimson Lights, Mattie’s (Lexie Stevenson) upset about Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) leaving for boarding school. Lily (Christel Khalil) can tell that her daughter’s distraught, so she summons Cane for backup. They work to improve Mattie’s outlook and help her see that she’s still got plenty of love in her life.

Elsewhere, Phyllis once again extracts a promise from Sharon. She just wants to be sure their secret is safe. Sharon vows to honor the pact they all made, but can she keep her word? “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say some exciting twists are coming up.
