The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, June 5: Summer Arrested – Victor’s Cruel Move – Nick and Phyllis Shockers

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, June 5, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will try to wrap their heads around Summer’s (Hunter King) return. At home, the lovers hastily get dressed and question why Summer hasn’t been keeping them in the loop. Summer talks about coming in from Atlanta and quickly heads out for the evening.

Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) discuss their big move. They consider how they’ll tell Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) before Phyllis summons Nick for a surprise. At Phyllis’ apartment, Nick and Sharon learn Summer’s back in town. They also divulge that they’ll be moving out of Genoa City soon. Phyllis tries to talk Nick out of it, but he sticks to the plan.

Once Sharon and Nick leave, Billy pushes Phyllis to open up. He senses that she wanted Nick to stick around because of Summer. Phyllis suggests she’ll be giving up some freedom now. Having Summer in GC again is going to be an adjustment.

Later, Victor (Eric Braeden) drops by the cottage and serves Nick with an injunction. He points out that Nick can’t take Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) out of state now. Victor’s suing for full custody of his grandson, which means a fierce battle’s brewing.

Across town, Kyle (Michael Mealor) drags Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to a party at The Dive Bar. They quickly bump into Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), who learns Sharon and Nick are moving. Tessa offers some support, but Mariah downplays her sadness.

Afterward, Kyle pitches himself as a new roomie for Mariah. They’re chatting when Summer’s voice comes out of the DJ booth. Kyle gets an uncomfortable hug from his ex and confesses to Mariah that he’s not over her. When Mariah meets up with Tessa again, she talks about Summer being a real brat.

Elsewhere, Abby (Melissa Ordway) confronts Arturo (Jason Canela) about what went on with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). He doesn’t think it’s a big deal since they weren’t really a couple and they’re finished with each other. A little later, Abby finds Arturo dancing with Summer at the party. She grabs a pitcher of ice water and pours it on Arturo’s head.

Of course, Summer also has a shocker coming up. The police eventually arrive to place her under arrest for felony auto theft! The sports car she used to drive into town was apparently reported stolen. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say there’s much more drama to come.
