The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, June 19: Jack Turns to Esther for Phillip Affair Info – Sharon Gives Nick a Proposal Answer

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, June 19, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will deal with some morning sickness. At Crimson Lights, Hilary gripes and snaps at Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She explains what’s wrong and swears Mariah to secrecy.

Afterward, Hilary fills Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) in on her reunion with Devon (Bryton James) as well as the morning sickness. Phyllis notes that it’s a typical part of pregnancy, so Hilary shouldn’t be afraid to seek support. At home, Nick (Joshua Morrow) urges Sharon (Sharon Case) to accept his offer of marriage. She insists on taking some time to think it over and heads off to the coffeehouse.

When Mariah hears that Nick popped the question, she thinks Sharon should trust her instincts. Sharon fears Nick didn’t ask her for the right reasons, but Mariah feels like her mom knows what’s real in her heart. She talks about how much she admires Sharon and wants her to be happy.

Meanwhile, Nick meets up with Phyllis and mentions his proposal. She thinks that’s a terrible plan, but Nick ultimately refuses to back down. Later, Sharon asks Nick why he proposed and he gives a solid explanation. Sharon decides to follow her heart and tell Nick that her answer’s yes.

Across town, Devon is upset about a text he received. He states that he had to hear about Hilary’s morning sickness from Phyllis. Hil confesses that she didn’t want Devon to know. She hoped she could hide it and keep everything dreamy at home.

Devon insists that he wants to be there for all of this pregnancy. He certainly doesn’t want Hilary suffering without someone in her corner. The lovebirds lean in for a kiss as their relationship strengthens.

At the Abbott house, Jack (Peter Bergman) surprises Ashley (Eileen Davidson) with news about his potential father. She learns Phillip Chancellor (Donnelly Rhodes) is in the running but warns Jack to be careful in his investigation. Jack tries his luck with Dina (Marla Adams) and gets nowhere. He eventually meets with Esther (Kate Linder), who doesn’t have much information either.

Esther can’t recall hearing anything about an affair between Dina and Phillip. She notes that Phillip Chancellor III and Chance may know something, but they’ll be in the Himalayas for two months. They’re off the grid, so Jack will have to wait if he wants to ask them questions.

Afterward, Jack brings Phyllis up to speed on his mission. She thinks Jack can only wait like Esther suggested. Phyllis notes that Jack can’t ask dead Phillip for a cheek swab, which seems to give him an idea.

Over with Ashley, she learns Abby (Melissa Ordway) wants to move back in. Abby’s fed up with Victor (Eric Braeden) and wants to get away from the ranch. She also hopes Ashley will meet Arturo (Jason Canela), which indeed happens later. It doesn’t take long for Arturo and Ashley to become fast friends. They do some salsa dancing at The Dive Bar as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) watches.

During a private chat, Nikki has a warning for Abby. She contends that Ashley may be Arturo’s next conquest. Abby fires back that Nikki and Victor aren’t going to stand in her way. She has feelings for Arturo, so she’s moving forward with this romance.

Nevertheless, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say doubts will creep in for Abby soon. It sounds like this relationship will come with some ups and downs. That’s to be expected on the CBS soap!
