The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, July 3: Hilary Investigates Nate – Phyllis Seeks a New Alliance with Sharon

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, July 3, tease that Sharon (Sharon Case), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will assess their situation. At the park, they stand around a huge piece of artwork. This sculpture’s been placed on concrete and it’s right on top of J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) burial spot.

Phyllis notes that digging the corpse up is out, so Victoria grows increasingly concerned. She suggests she’s going to assume J.T. survived until she has more info. Nikki reminds the gals that they have to stick together, but Phyllis has another idea. She meets up with Sharon later for a private meeting.

Phyllis mentions that if J.T.’s really back, he probably didn’t even see the two of them that night. She feels like Nikki rushing to Victoria’s defense is a simple enough story, so she doesn’t see why they have to be involved. Phyllis wants to start a new alliance that leaves them out of the potential legal drama, but Sharon isn’t interested.

Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) butts in on Nikki and Victor’s (Eric Braeden) social worker appointment. He makes sure to mention Victor’s latest GC Buzz disaster. Victor brushes it off and addresses the health expose as well. He contends that it was just the work of some disgruntled employee.

At Hamilton-Winters, Neil (Kristoff St. John) enjoys a happy reunion. Nate Hastings, Jr. (Brooks Darnell) appears and gives Neil a big hug. As they leave for the penthouse, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) spy them. They’re both intrigued by the good-looking guy and ponder what he’s in town for.

Later, Hilary decides to find out for herself. She knocks on Neil’s door, which is answered by a shirtless Nate. He gives Hilary the runaround on any personal details and in her opinion, comes across as impolite. Hilary stomps away to fume, but she returns later to unleash her wrath. This time Neil’s around to make introductions and hustle Hilary out.

Of course, Hilary isn’t going to let this go. Once she’s back at her place, she makes a call and asks for a comprehensive file on Nate. Meanwhile, Victor arrives for his appointment with the good doc. He wants Nate to accept him as a new patient and sign a non-disclosure agreement. Nate’s interested, but he’s not ready to lock this in yet. He wants to check Victor out first and set the terms of his hefty salary.

Afterward, Victor finds Nikki and reveals he’s optimistic about working with his new doctor. Nikki shifts gears and worries about the J.T. mayhem, but Victor promises to guard the family. He intends to protect the Newmans from any further trouble.
