The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, July 10: Billy Ropes Summer Into a Plan – Jack Makes a Decision – Nick Gets Custody News

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, July 10, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will be on a mission. At Jabot, he tells Summer (Hunter King) that he’s going to win back the yacht tonight. Summer doesn’t seem convinced and expresses remorse for dragging Billy back into gambling.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) comes in eventually and bickers with Summer a bit. Billy defends the keeper of his secrets and reminds Ashley that she’s not in charge. Ash claims she’s fine with being COO, but she admits her true feelings to Neil (Kristoff St. John) later. She feels like Billy won’t be a successful CEO forever, so she’ll be waiting when everything falls apart.

Neil praises Ashley for knowing when to get off Newman’s sinking ship. She gives him an insider tip that could help Hamilton-Winters and he seems quite pleased. Over with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), she gets the scoop on the latest J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) drama from Sharon (Sharon Case). Afterward, they both head to Newman for a tense conversation with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).

Victoria feels like they can’t bury their heads in the sand anymore. She believes J.T’s back and he’s out to get them. Nick (Joshua Morrow) arrives and seems weirded out by seeing the ladies together again. Sharon and Phyllis argue that they have to support Victoria, but Nick still finds it all pretty strange.

Nevertheless, Nick turns Victoria’s attention to the issue of safety. He assures her that a security team is watching out for her. That goes for Victoria’s children as well. Once Victoria brings up Newman’s crisis, Nick confesses that he doesn’t feel sorry for Victor (Eric Braeden). Afterward, Brittany (Lauren Woodland) calls Nick and notes that a final decision in the custody case is coming today.

Back with Phyllis, she hears about Summer’s earlier run-in with Ashley. There’s also some confusion about a shipment thanks to Billy’s lies, but he manages to cover his tracks. In a moment alone with Summer, Billy seeks her help with his plan to win back Jaboat. Summer lets Billy know she’ll do what she can.

At the Abbott house, Cane (Daniel Goddard) spars with Kyle (Michael Mealor) over the gravedigging fiasco. Jack (Peter Bergman) tries to send them to their corners, but Cane remains riled. He notes that Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) left Chancellor Industries to Victor and it was later sold. Cane suggests that even if Jack and Kyle are part of the Chancellor clan, they won’t gain any kind of control.

Later, Jack admits he wants to use the bone from Phillip’s (Donnelly Rhodes) grave. He tells Kyle they’ll run the DNA test and find out the truth. Jack feels like he has to know who he really is. Meanwhile, Cane meets up with Nate (Brooks Darnell) and hears all about his heartbreaking history. After Nate’s love died, he had to leave Boston and all the memories they made behind.

Cane hints that maybe he should set up a double date. Nate could meet someone new and they could hang out with the Ashbys. However, Nate decides to pass on the offer. Let’s hope some lovely lady can help him push through his pain eventually.
