Meanwhile, Lily stands her ground with Cane (Daniel Goddard). She intends on turning herself in whether he supports her or not. Later, Lily’s decision gets a mixed reaction from Neil and the twins. Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Neil aren’t happy about it, but Mattie’s (Lexie Stevenson) proud that her mother’s taking responsibility.
Michael (Christian LeBlanc) comes on board as Lily’s lawyer and summons Paul (Doug Davidson) to Hamilton-Winters. The attorney pushes Lily to go for short and simple answers. During the interrogation, Paul records Lily as she confesses to running the red light. She makes it clear that she caused the crash that killed Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and her baby.
Michael isn’t pleased with the way it all goes down. After Paul (Doug Davidson) promises to get in touch soon, he exits and leaves Michael to fume. Lily is shocked when she hears her possible punishment. Michael notes that she could get 20 years in the slammer for two counts of vehicular homicide. The stakes are certainly high for remorseful Lily!
Over with Summer (Hunter King), she fails to get any more hookup info from Kyle (Michael Mealor). As a result, Summer takes matters into her own hands and does some snooping. She swipes Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) phone for a moment and takes a pic of her mom’s recent call list.
When Summer eventually meets up with Jack (Peter Bergman), they talk about Phyllis getting back together with Billy (Jason Thompson). Summer declares that Jack’s the better man for her mother. He comes clean about his lingering feelings for Phyllis, so Summer contends that he should keep fighting.
Elsewhere, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) vents about the strife between Jabot and Fenmore’s. She’d really like to bail on this partnership. The conversation shifts to Hilary, so Lauren admits that Lily’s turning herself in. Phyllis is pleased that justice will be served. Later, Jack tracks his ex-wife to complain about the “Philly” reunion. Phyllis stands by her decision due to the excitement Billy brings her.
After Summer considers the one-night stand mystery, she comes to the conclusion that Jack hooked up with Phyllis. Summer promptly reveals her suspicions to Kyle (Michael Mealor). In Billy’s office, Ash lashes out over his gambling and the risky project he’s taken on. Billy insists that what he started can’t be stopped. He just wants Ash to take a leap of faith and have his back on this.
However, Y&R viewers can probably expect some backstabbing instead! “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say some Jabot bombshells are looming, so Billy had better stay on guard. We’ll give you updates as other news and rumors emerge. Stick with the CBS soap to see even more chaos.
