The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday, November 8: Rey and Sharon Almost Kiss – Mariah’s Mission – JT Murder Press Conference

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, November 8, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will hear the latest news. At the park, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fills her mom in on all the watch drama. They stand near the crime scene and try to stay calm.

Over with Mariah (Camryn Grimes), she finishes a GC Buzz report on the case. Mariah asks Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) for more info but comes up empty. When she pushes Nikki for a statement, Ms. Newman suggests she’s in the dark on what’s going on. Rey eventually corners Nikki in her car to ask for help. He needs to know who designed the sculpture and who landscaped the area.

At the police station later, Mariah pretends she’s there to see Sharon (Sharon Case). In reality, she just wants to pump Rey for the info again. Mariah still gets nowhere, so she takes off. At Jabot, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) receives a text. Victoria hasn’t heard anything else about the crime scene and thinks that’s a good sign.

Lola (Sasha Calle) arrives with lunch for everybody. She manages to get Phyllis off Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) back with a sandwich. Later, Kyle fills Lola in on his new project and Summer’s (Hunter King) involvement. Lola isn’t worried this time. Talk turns to Lola’s dreams for a restaurant, so Kyle offers to help. Lola’s appreciative but turns him down. She wants to make her dreams come true herself.

Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) annoys Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) by showing her face at Crimson Lights. Tessa hopes she’ll take her coffee to-go, but Phyllis plants herself at a table with Nick (Joshua Morrow). They rehash their sex session and the waves it’s making. Nick doesn’t think it should be any big scandal since they’re consenting adults. He thinks maybe she should do dinner sometime.

Phyllis gets reassurance that she’s not a rebound and admits she told Billy (Jason Thompson) about the hookup. She enjoyed adding to his pain after what he did to her. Nick wonders what Billy did exactly, but Phyllis doesn’t divulge the Summer drama.

Speaking of drama, Sharon waltzes in and sees the sex buddies. She marches over to unleash her wrath. Sharon insists that Phyllis deserves only heartbreak and ultimately joins Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) in his apartment. They talk about how Sharon needs to let go of the past and make room for her future.

Sharon feels like Rey’s a romantic and he admires her heart of gold. They lean in for an almost kiss, but Rey pulls back and gets called to work. Later, Sharon watches Rey’s press conference. He reveals that new proof has come to light, so the J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) case is now a murder investigation.

Back at Crimson Lights, Esther (Kate Lander) pesters Mariah about doing a special segment on her. She wants to highlight her own life and relationship with Katherine (Jeanne Cooper). Mariah feigns excitement and says she’ll get back to her. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) helps usher Esther out with coffee on the house.

In a moment alone with Tessa, Mariah seems reluctant to share something. Tessa works to pry it out of her, so Mariah confesses she’d like to live together. She gets a grin from Tessa, so it seems they’re on the same page.
